MY AIM

Hi everyone, my name is Kimmy Branco and I am from sunny Cape Town, South Africa, situated in Brackenfell. My kennel name, BRANCOSHIRE was derived from my surname, being Branco, and from York'SHIRE' terriers.
When my kennel started, I concentrated on yorkies, but now I am very excited to be venturing onto my new journey in breeding Chihuahuas as well.
I am a home-based breeder of toys and as I do this for the love of these tiny beauties, all my dogs are treated as adored family members.
I breed to the best of my knowledge and plan my matings with care. Each new born is considered a little treasure and are raised next to my bed. They are handled from birth and are well socialized.
I am registered with KUSA, my pups are vet checked, dewormed, inoculated, & microchipped. Puppies come with puppy starter packs, info booklet, vet card, blanket and toy. I fell in-love with Chihuahuas after visiting a friend, her little Chihuahua just kept on giving me kisses. My hubby saw my face and said, I know "that look”. I purchased my first male soon after. And yes, it is true, once the doggy bug bites you, it bites hard. Once hooked there is no turning back.
I researched to find the best breeders and purchased two beautiful girls from different kennels to add to my breeding stock. I will always be grateful to my dear friends, for being there for me regarding anything concerning my precious Chihuahuas.

The legal stuff

All my Chihuahuas are registered with the Kennel Union of Southern Africa.  Puppies will be dewormed at 3 weeks and 6weeks, inoculated and micro chipped according to the new regulations from KUSA before going to their new homes at 8-10 weeks. The registration certificates will be posted to the new owners. I don’t put breeding restrictions on papers.
