We imported two Border Terriers from Essex early 2011 as we could not find any in SA for 3 years. We also realized that there was just one bloodline in SA and that if we would like to breed with this lovely breed we would have to import some new blood.

They are a terrier with the attitude of a cat when they are in the house. Lilo will sleep on the couch the whole day, but when we go for a walk she would be up and active but not hyper like a lot of  small terriers breeds. They make great companions for older people as well as young children and even people that would like to do some hunting and agility. They do not mind living in a smaller garden but enjoy their walks.

The legal stuff

The affix "Lionridge," is registered with KUSA. My puppies will be KUSA registered, inoculated and microchipped. New owners will have to sign an agreement before the puppies can go to them.  We give a signed KUSA registration certificate to the new owners.
