We live on an 8 hectare smallholding in The Crags, near Plettenberg Bay, in the heart of the beautiful Garden Route, with our 7 gorgeous Golden Retrievers and 2 cats. 

I have carefully selected my breeding Goldens and plan to show them in Breed shows around South Africa. I am happy to offer show quality puppies to new owners who are interested in showing this gorgeous breed, as well as to pet owners who can offer a safe, secure and loving home. 

First and foremost, our Goldens are our pets and although they have loads of space to romp around in, mostly, as Goldens want to do, they sleep in our bedroom! 

We will have litters of pups from time to time, but with no shorter gap than 2 heat seasons (approximately 12 months) between litters from the same bitch. Savannalands breeds for the love of the breed and will only use healthy animals, that have been x-rayed for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia (and have good scores) and have South African Veterinary Association Eye Clearance Certificates, in order to improve the breed. 

The legal stuff

"Savannalands" is a registered KUSA affix. To promote responsible breeding practices, all Savannalands puppies will be sold with breeding restrictions. These restrictions will be lifted once the necessary health checks have been done, if they show favourable results.

All pups will be inoculated, dewormed and micro-chipped. They will be KUSA registered, with the Certificate of Registration sent to the new owner for transfer of the pup into his/her name. A Contract of Sale will be entered into between Savannalands and the new owners. Any dog that is purchased from Savannalands that is not wanted, for one reason or another at any stage during the dog’s life, must be returned to us and we will either rehome it or keep it.
