Youngstead

At Youngstead we have imported numerous Saints for our breeding program, all from the best quality Swiss and European bloodlines.

We are the most successful Saint Bernard exhibitors in South Africa, and have bred more registered champions than any other SA Saint breeder ever. Our show wins include numerous Best in Show awards at both All Breed and Specialist shows. 

Healthy dogs with good temperaments and a long lifespan are goals that we have successfully achieved for almost 30 years. 

Youngstead puppies are all bred to meet the Official European Standard (FCI) and raised according to strict guidelines regarding quality of breeding stock, nutrition, hygiene, housing and socialization, as well as any other relevant factors which impact on the growth and development of the puppies.

We provide puppies from 8 weeks of age together with written information regarding the raising, training and general development of the puppies, based on our successful experience over many years. We also provide an ongoing support system consisting of training and advice via telephone or internet contact and personal contact where possible. 

If our advice regarding the above factors is followed diligently puppies should grow up to be strong healthy adults, well socialized and correctly trained, and a pleasure to have in most homes. 

YOUNGSTEAD Saint Bernards is based in Johannesburg, but puppies can be safely transported by air to any destination.

The legal stuff

"Youngstead" is a registered affix with KUSA since 1982. We give the puppy registration certificate to all puppy buyers. All puppies are sold with KUSA registration certificate and are inoculated and dewormed by our vet. Breeding restriction placed on all puppies.
