Should you be considering
the purchase of a new family dog, look no further than the Labrador Retriever.
These pets are wonderful family companions, highly intelligent and very
protective of their loved ones.
We reside on a lovely
family farm in the Eastern Cape (near East London) and our three Labrador
females have one litter of puppies per year. We are fortunate enough to
run our farming operation from our home and so our Labradors and puppies are
personally cared for by our own family. We have one black male, two
chocolate females and one yellow female and are therefore fortunate enough to
offer the availability, to our purchasers, of all three colours.
The parents are all
tested for hip / elbow dysplasia and for the degenerative eye disease,
Progressive Retinal Atrophy. The puppies are dewormed at 2,4 and 6 weeks
and treated with Frontline to ensure that they are flea and tick free at all
times. At 6 weeks, the puppies are inoculated, microchipped and thoroughly
examined by our veterinarian. We feed our pregnant and lactating mommies
together with the puppies only the very best available food, Hills Science Plan.
A free Hills puppy pack is presented to each Purchaser together with a file
containing copies of parents’ registration certificates, hip /elbow
certificates and PRA certificates of both parents, inoculation card and advice
on raising your puppy. Please note that the original registration
certificate for your puppy will be forwarded to you by registered mail
approximately four weeks after delivery of puppy (microchips must be inserted
prior to application for registration). For your convenience we can
arrange a flight to any major airport in South Africa at the purchaser’s
expense (approximately R900.00).

The legal stuff
Our puppies are all
registered with KUSA. A Contract is also drawn up between Seller and Purchaser
for your protection and ours. A breeding restriction is placed on all pups
for the first two years (for females) and first year (for males). This
restriction will be lifted on receipt by us of a hip / elbow certificate
reflecting an acceptable score.
The price of a puppy is R5000.
