About us:

Cherylu is a small Show Kennel in the Western Cape situated in Somerset West.  

We specialize in well socialized tiny toys with correct, sound structure, overall balance, baby doll faces and sweet outgoing temperaments. 

The goal of our breeding program it to produce toy poodle puppies that are outstanding examples of the breed standard, champions in the show ring and excellent companions and the most of all the Finest in Red in South Africa. To Achieve all this we decided to have the best in red to start with, so we imported a male (South Jordan, Utah) and female (Florida, Venice) from the best in variety from USA. 

All our dogs have been and are in the show ring with Diesel (only Sire) a SA Champion and the females well on their way of becoming champions. 

My babe's share our home with the rest of the family. Poodles live to be with their people and nothing is more flattering than a Cherylu Poodle.  Whether you are absent for one hour of five, a warm welcome  is assured.

The legal stuff:

* We occasionally have puppies available to approved homes.

* Cherylu is a registered affix with KUSA.

* The Kennel Union of Southern Africa requires that all puppies be microchipped when applying for registration.  It is therefore the new owner responsibility to ensure that the puppy is microchipped and that the relevant documentation (breeders copy and KUSA copy) is provided to the breeder before the puppy reaches 4 months of age.  To ensure that the puppy is registered it is imperative that the microchip papers be given to the breeder a.s.a.p. to avoid delays or    the possibility of the puppy not being registered.

* All puppies come with signed KUSA registration, breeding restrictions which can be lifted should the new owner be interested in showing/breeding and  be prepared to go through all the right procedures for breeding good quality healthy puppies.

* All puppies are Vet checked, dewormed and inoculated.

* If puppies need to fly, we pay the flight costs and new owner pay for traveling crate.
