| Where to Register Dogs in South AfricaThere are different registering bodies. Some breeds have their own register. Who you register your puppies with, depends on where the parents are registered. Not all registries are equal, and some registration certificates have little value. KUSA Kennel Union of Southern Africa KUSA is the authority on breed standards. They lay down the law as to what height etc a dog must be. They organise dog shows & invite international judges to assess whether our dogs are up to world standards. It's best to register your pups with KUSA as the folk buying them won't be able to compete in dog shows without a KUSA certificate. ph 0214239027/8 SADBA, Southern African Dog Breeders Association. SADBA issues registration certificates & kennel names. They do not organise shows. A dog registered with SADBA can never become a champion. ph 0118942167 If no answer, phone after 7 pm.
