Dogs - Springer Spaniel
The springer spaniel
was bred for hunting. They had to make game spring from
their hiding places. Spaniels enjoy splashing through the reeds, hunting for
waterfowl and can be trained to retrieve it.

| Showdogs
have such poise! Their owners show them with confidence, knowing the dogs
are up to standard. We humans sometimes lack poise and have sense of not
being up to standard. Indeed, the Bible says none of us are up to God's
standard! "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
... but God has made a way for us to clean up our act through faith in
Jesus Christ. Romans 3, 23 - 26 |

Spaniels love water so a commitment to
grooming is required, else the coat will matt. A spaniel puppy's first grooming
session should be kept short as they have little attention span and like to
wriggle around. With patience, puppies get used to a brush.
