The dogs are often called Staffies or Staffords, for short.
They originated from a cross between a Bulldog and a terrier. Staffies can be
aggressive towards other dogs, although affectionate towards humans.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are
medium sized and pack a lot of power in their muscular bodies. They have strong
jaws and prominent cheek muscles. They enjoy a dog-fight if provoked.
Height 35 - 40 cms at shoulder.
Class: Terrier.
