I am a KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa) member, breeding Yorkshire Terriers since 1998.
I strive to breed healthy animals. I breed miniatures as well as the standard size Yorkshire terriers. Yorkies are great companions for grown-ups, but ours are good with young children as well. They are not recommended for small children as they are petit animals and need lots of loving care and attention. If you purchase a Yorkie, it is advisable to purchase another within the next 6 months unless you have a small dog of another breed, Maltese, Chihuahua or similar toy dog.
You would have to first find out whether the particular breeder you decide to buy from has any puppies available and then you would arrange to view the puppies. Puppies should be at least 9 weeks old before they are purchased and the reason for this is that they learn from the adult dogs from the age of 6 weeks, which give them a good foundation. If the breeders do not have pups available, you are added to a list of potential buyers and when pups become available, you would then be contacted and offered a pup depending on your preference for a male or female. If you would like to send us your
details, i.e. name, address, tel, & cell no’s & E-mail, we will add
you to our list of potential buyers and when we have pups, we will contact you.
I register all puppies with KUSA. Hand over certificates & puppies to the buyers at 8 or 9 weeks of age, and do not put breeding restrictions on the papers.
