Puppies

I bought my first two chows 40 years ago. They proved to be the cleanest dogs in and around the house and guarded me with their lives while sleeping in my house. Chows are very clever and learn quickly.

I later imported a white female and co-owned it with a show breeder. We did not breed with the chows. They were just our pride and joy. The white female was entered into shows. I have since tried to get a good quality chow in South Africa and found out that there were just no registered breeders that breed any more. In the last three years I have reared my own two females and a lovely new stud male. I am now ready to present to the South African market this wonderful, intelligent, clean breed of dogs again.

With over 50 years of experience with breeding Pomeranians as well, I can assure you that getting a puppy from my kennel is worth it. We strive for excellence!

One of the oldest known breeds of dog, the Chow Chow has captivated man's heart for milleniums, being a loyal companion and working dog within the family unit. Unique in it's bear-like appeal, yet with a cat-like temperament and cleanliness, this breed of dog is very protective and alert. The Chow Chow is a companion, the likes of which you will never forget.

The kennel name, "Browdeen," is registered with KUSA. We register our puppies with KUSA and give the buyer a KUSA registration certificate.
