Why a Vizsla?
Dogs have always been an important part of our family and our life on the farm.
When we began looking for a new companion, we wanted a breed that would fit
naturally into our lifestyle — intelligent, affectionate, athletic, eager to
learn, good with children and equally happy being part
of the family or exploring the open spaces of the farm.
Our search led us to the Hungarian Vizsla, and when Klara came into our lives,
we quickly understood why this breed is so special. She became much more than a
dog — she became an integral part of our family and the inspiration behind
Suikerbos Vizslas - Elrisan.

Living on a farm gives our Vizslas the freedom to run, explore and enjoy the
outdoors, while being raised as much-loved family members. It also
gives us the privilege of sharing this remarkable breed with carefully selected
families.
Our Breeding Programme
Our goal is to breed healthy, well-balanced Vizslas with excellent temperament,
sound structure, working ability and true breed character. We
place great importance on health testing, responsible pairing and giving every
puppy the best possible start in life.
We are delighted to introduce Butterfly Hunter Blue Lagoon (Réz), our imported
Hungarian stud sire, who has joined our breeding programme and
represents an exciting step forward for Suikerbos Vizslas - Elrisan.
Réz comes from the Butterfly Hunter breeding programme in Hungary and is a
maternal half-brother to Butterfly Hunter Casper — sharing the
same mother but having different fathers. This connection is a meaningful part
of Réz’s European heritage and adds to our excitement about the
qualities and bloodlines he brings to our breeding programme.
Réz brings outstanding European lineage and the qualities we value in a Vizsla,
and we look forward to seeing his contribution to the future of Suikerbos
Vizslas Elrisan.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home, surrounded by family, people, and
other dogs. They receive daily handling, interaction and individual
attention and grow up experiencing the sights, sounds and freedom of our farm.
For us, breeding is about far more than producing puppies. It is about raising
confident, healthy and loving Vizslas who will become treasured
companions, working partners and, where appropriate, show dogs.
Every puppy leaves us with our love, our knowledge and our commitment to
its future.
The Essentials
Our puppies leave us with everything in place for a healthy and responsible
start to their new lives:
KUSA registered
Microchipped before leaving for their new home
Vaccinated and dewormed according to age and veterinary recommendations
Sold with a written sales contract
Breeding restrictions apply, as set out in the sales contract
Puppies are only placed in carefully considered, suitable homes where we believe
they will thrive
