Black Giant Schnauzers originally come from Germany. They were first used as guard dogs for the protection of train rails, and they have been successfully used as police dogs.
They are wire coat dogs with the characteristic "schnauzer" look, where long hair creates eyebrows and beard.
They are absolutely loyal family dogs, devoted to protecting their own people, always ready to please you. They need basic schooling and activity, mentally and physically.

I came to SA in 2005 with my two bitches. I have been showing, training, and breeding my beloved Giants from 1988.
I use the best European bloodlines. Dogs from Fandangopoland are champions of many European countries. 
Right now staying with me are:

15 yo Int. Ch. Pl-Sk-Cz-UA-Ro-SE-La-Mo-Bl Solaika Fandango Poland,

her 12, 5 yo sister Int. Ch.SA. Ch Alorse on Chante Fadangopoland,

her two daughters Int. Ch. SA Doudou Mignon Fandangopoland, and SA. Ch. GRUSZKA Fandangopoland.

In 2020 I imported from Spain a male from one of the best kennels in Europe - Zarina's Design COPYRIGHT. His mother Zarina's Design So Damn Hot is a World Winner 2014, and Euro Winner 2017. His father is from a well-known Spanish kennel, "De Lordship's".

 

Once you've had a Giant, you won't have a different breed!
They need a little attention with the coat. When stripped, Giants, Standards, and Mini do not shred. The wire coat is shiny and easy to clean. Longer hair on the beard and legs give a characteristic look.

Giants love kids and they always play as gentle Giants. They have a natural instinct to protect and in a dangerous situation they will sacrifice their own life.

I do breed occasionally, puppies' parents are South African and International champions and health tested. Puppies go to new approved homes at 8 weeks.

Our kennel name - FandangoPoland - is registered with KUSA - the Kennel Union of Southern Africa. We register every puppy with KUSA breeding restrictions. The buyer gets a registration certificate. Every puppy has a microchip implanted.
