My name is Maria van der Poel and I live in Hanover, South Africa. I breed
Pembroke Welsh Corgis and every puppy is registered with KUSA.
I fell in love with Corgis years ago after meeting my sister's dog. Their clever
minds, cheerful nature and funny little legs won me over completely. For more
than ten years I have carefully chosen healthy parents from South Africa, the
UK, Hungary and the USA so that the puppies grow up strong, friendly and true to
the breed.
Our Corgis are part of the family. They live in the house with us, get plenty of
love, play and exercise, and see the vet regularly. Puppies spend their first
weeks indoors where they are handled every day. Later they explore a bigger
outdoor area, meet different people and sounds, and learn gentle manners. We
never use harsh methods – a calm voice works best.

About Pembroke Welsh Corgis
Pembroke Welsh Corgis are bright, affectionate little dogs with big
personalities packed into sturdy bodies and short legs. They are clever, eager
to please, and full of cheerful energy that makes them wonderful companions for
the right home. Their playful spirit and loyal nature quickly win hearts,
whether they are following you around the house or settling contentedly at your
feet after a busy day.
These dogs thrive on human company and form strong bonds with their families.
They adapt well to different lifestyles when given daily exercise, mental
stimulation and plenty of love. Many owners find that a Corgi brings laughter,
comfort and a sense of fun into everyday life, turning ordinary moments into
happy memories.

Ten reasons people fall in love with Corgis:-
1. Intelligent and quick to learn
2. Loyal and devoted to their family
3. Cheerful and playful nature
4. Compact size that fits well in most homes
5. Affectionate and people-oriented
6. Good watchdogs who alert you to visitors
7. Sturdy and active without needing huge amounts of space
8. Endearing personality with a touch of cheekiness
9. Excellent companions for both adults and children (with proper supervision)
10. Bring lasting joy and companionship for many years
Before any puppy leaves home it is inoculated, dewormed and has a microchip
implanted. The KUSA registration application is already submitted. I am happy to
discuss whether breeding restrictions appear on the papers and what the sale
contract includes.
What makes these little dogs special is the way they settle into a home and fill
it with laughter. Owners often tell me their Corgi has become the heart of the
family – a loyal friend for older people, a playful partner for children, and a
bright spark that brightens every day. I stay in touch long after the puppy goes
home, ready to answer questions and share tips so the bond grows strong and
happy.
If you are looking for a healthy, well-loved companion that will share many
joyful years with you, I would love to chat. We can do a real-time video call so
you can see and hear the dogs for yourself and feel completely sure.
Thank you for reading. I look forward to helping the right person find a Corgi
that will become a true family member.
Legal
Matters
Every puppy is sold with a written contract that the buyer is asked to sign.
This contract includes the agreement that the dog will be spayed or neutered
when it is old enough, unless other arrangements have been discussed and agreed
in writing. Breeding restrictions are placed on the KUSA registration papers.
The buyer receives the official KUSA registration certificate that transfers
ownership into their name (or the name they choose), so the puppy is legally
theirs. Our kennel name is PemberDiamonds and it is registered with KUSA. The
registered name of each puppy will include the PemberDiamonds affix together
with the name the new owner chooses.
