It's always best to buy dogs from a breeder who has registered puppies available, because they should be able to answer all your questions about the breed. It's fun to trace dogs ancestry, which you can do if the dog is registered. If you buy from a breeder, you can tell what the puppies will look like when grown up, by looking at the parents.

Man has divided dogs into breeds according to their appearance. A Chinese Shar pei must look Chinese. An English bulldog must look English. An Africanis must look African.

What breed are you? Are you Chinese, English, African, or another breed?

Well God doesn't care about breeds. To him, all dogs are dogs. A mixed breed is as good as a pedigreed dog,  and all people are equal. The Bible says, "Man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart."

 1 Samuel chapter 16 verse 7
